My God, when will it end? While I don't particularly like the style of the young men running around with their underwear hanging out, it should remain their freedom of choice in how they dress. As long as they are not showing it all, what is the problem?

*The butt crack?? So when do we regulate what plumbers wear so that isn't offending someone?

*The underwear?? Really, check out the beaches in California and Florida. They are wearing a whole lot less and exposing a whole lot more there.

Are they going to regulate our dress until men are all dressed in long sleeved shirts and jeans that fit and women are wearing veils and robes?

Va. doesn't need that law, IMO. As long as no fleshy-parts are hanging out...what's the difference? (Women excepted, of course .) Shoplifter pants ridin' low, ball caps turned backwards...it's a fasion statement, and fasion is fickle. Dress like that and there's a sign over your head. To young people it reads..."I'm cool", but to me and a lot of people my age it says..."I'm stupid-looking". This 'look' like every other will run it's course in time. Don't come knocking on my door looking for work dressed like that however, cause I won't hire you.

That's right...

An men, don't wear ear-rings to an interview with me...
I'll interview you, but you'll get a card in the mail saying... "We decided to go with a candidate that best fit the criteria for which we were hiring."

Note: The VA Bill to fine saggers was shot down in the State Senate. The senate said "Virginia has more important problems to deal with."

Kind of a double standard?

Call it what you want, but that's life in the big city.

If you are going to work in a warehouse that's one thing, but if you are going to be dealing with the public, and representing my company to a customer...you are going to look like I want you to. Besides having all the required job skills, you will look as conservative and non-contraversial as possible. Like it or not...it's my call.
