So why hasnt Ford sued the webmaster of F150online.com yet? What a bunch of retards... if the judge looking over the case has any mind left in him, he will dismiss the case and put monster cable on trial for attempting to monopolize the industry with something as stupid as a name like "monster".... what a crock of shat.... for that matter there are a LOT of people out there using names that are similar to fortune 500 company names... and monster cable isnt that big of a company.... so they supply audio equipment wiring and other insulated wires..... its not even a household name for gods sake! most people who dont work on car audio equipment dont even know what the hell a monster cable is! but i guarentee you mention monster garage, and your gonna spark some attention... i hope to God jesse wins that one.... as for "Monsters inc" its not even the same word... the "s" at the end changes the whole thing.... the only thing that could possibly make this country a better place, is to quarentine the use of law suits... end of story! if there is money owed to someone, let that amount and ONLY that amount be legally owed... no "punitive damages" or "pain and suffering".... if pain and suffering were really an issue, i dont think there would be much room to think or act on tryin to sue someone for copious amounts of money.... he would be too busy dealing with his "pain and suffering" or how about that bullcrap about "wrongful death" lemme ask..... what is a rightful death? oh yah thats right.. when the government does it.. yeah thats right... but see us people down here in the real world, we can get our asses sued off for rightfully peeling the skull off of an assailant thats trying to kill us... aint that a bitch? you come into my house, try to rape my family and rob us for all we have... so i fight back and put 2 buckshot loads in your face... now your ****less family can come back and sue me for "wrongfully" killing you........ im gonna put it like this, if i ever get sued for harming or killing someone who was without a doubt tryin to harm me or my family... im going to turn around and smite the people alive trying to get the $$$... and just serve my sentance in prison.... greedy bastards...
(slowly cooling off....)

They probably figured if they could get away with putting fat insultion on cables and charging 3-10 times the price of what everyone else makes a profit on, they could get away with anything. Can't wait until they sue monster.com, they'll get eaten alive.
lol forgot about monster.com .... biggest job finding resource on the web.... yeah, i can see where they will profit
and see, look at how many companies exist under the same basic name.... and some dumbass insulated wire company thinks they are big and bad enough to rack on everyone else for using the same name.... personally? id like to see what happens if they try to sue disney..... honestly, monster.com is a big company... but come on now... if ever there was a biggest company in the world, its disney... their profits in 1 year will accumulate to more than monster cables entire lifetime of sales LOL (exaggerated, so no need to have anyone in here with their face glued to the screen tryin to shut me down with some facts and figures they pulled off the net..) but seriously... they own most of everything, hell... disney even has their own line of pornos! it will be funny to see the outcome... i will lose all faith in the american justice system if they get away with this bullcrap... and i mean it... never again will i say "god bless america" or "land of the free".... if you ask me, we arent too far away from some of the less communist countries... we just hide it well.. thats all

did he win? didnt think so.... so yes, the american people can still say 2 words back to back without being sued by an already unbelievably rich fruitcake.... wow, i feel so damned special

"For patrons of Monster Cable "
If you check out the Home Theater forum there is a huge discussion on this and everyone Monster Cable is trying to sue. Funny thing is somebody posted up a link where the Monster Cable owner is trying to justify all this
Personally I'd like to see someone sue them for false advertisement.
Oh and my personal favorite, their DVI cables:
HDTV Demands A More Advanced All-Digital Video Interface
Most ordinary DVI cables are prone to impedance variances and loss of signalstrength, while poor shielding causes the cable to radiate radio frequency and electromagnetic interference out to the rest of your system. As a result, you’ll notice blurred images, and a loss of color fidelity and image detail.
Gas-Injection for Optimum DVI Bitstream Transfer
DVI specifications are absolutely unforgiving when it comes to impedancevariances. That’s why Monster developed a unique gas-injected dielectric. This creates uniform, microscopic cells that keep the conductor in the cable’s exact center. This maintains precision 100-Ohm impedance and deliversthe digital signal in its pristine state.Maximum Protection
Full Coverage Quad Shielding
For maximum rejection of interference,M500DVI features two high density layersof 100% mylar foil which reject high frequency RF interference and two 95%copper braids, which reject low frequencyEM interference. M500DVI lets absolutelyzero noise radiate out, so your picture is free from noise induced digital artifacts.
Monster Cable - were a company of decent cables that are way overpriced because your to stupid for not doing your homework. Hey, we gotta pay for all that marketing some how.
Trending Topics
The whole audio cable thing is totally bogus and completely out of hand. You should see some of the claims cable companies are making about the stuff they sell. Worse yet, people actually claim thay can hear differences between cables! And some peopole even claim cables are "directional," so that they work better facing one way than the other. And it gets even crazier.
What a bunch of hooey.
And frankly, Monster is one of the cheaper brands out there.
For a real discussion of this, go to audioholics.com. Some pretty good info there.

I'm not a bonified audio nut and would NEVER spend more than 30-40 bux for a decent set of patch cables, but you honestly can't knock someone if they hear something different between two cables. Its an opinion just like arguing Ford vs. Chevy vs. Dodge.
Get out and try them out yourself...if you don't like it or can't tell the difference then don't invest the money into it.
Tony
Wires CAN be directional... depenging on how they are spun and insulated they can prove to give more juice in one direction.... they CAN be the difference between good sound and crappy sound, i mean if you ask me a good gold plated RCA jack is much better than a standard metal one. Here is what matters most though..... density of the wire, the metal thats used, and what guage of wire you are using... the concept here is to remember that you only need so much energy to pass through a wire, and overkilling the size without enough to power it is actually doing more harm than good... and vice versa, extremely thin wires dont give enough... so there has to be a balance between the two... as in, if you are pumping a little 200W amp to power some 6x9s... you arent going to want to use a 1/2" thick power line... your going to want to use a 10 guage... maybe as far down as a 8, but nothing larger... but for a nice dual 1000w PPI amp system pumping to two JL W7 12s (at almost $1000 a piece) your going to want to use high quality wire, and a crapload of diameter as well... 2 guage or equivalent... so what im saying is, for those of us with multi thousand dollar audio systems that need good wire, whats another 100 bucks to get yourself something that will last a long time? I for one, know that cheap RCA cables go out at will... and never usually last but a few months or so... (radio shack RCAs are a prime example... i wouldnt give those to my worst enemy...) so its all about application.... think about prada, and gucci, and coach, and luis vuitton... there HAS to be a high end of everything... something made for a much higher price than average, that is for those who want to spend that much money on a system...... but just like all those names i listed, you will also find the occasional straggler than spent their entire paycheck on that one item just to look like they could, or like they needed it..... its the economy today... stuff has uses, but only for those who NEED them.... its the idiots that know nothing about what they are buying that end up getting screwed... but thats why we have forums
very insightful to let consumers know what they are buying before they buy it...
