Well it's been a year, has anyone learned anything else to try?

I read some tips on hidden features of the 6-cd audiophile head unit.

The one where you can press 2 buttons (forgot already) and put the unit in "Ship Mode".

If you ever buy or sell on eBay, this would be very helpful.

HUH, I wonder what it actaully does?
Sounds interesting.
Have to send instruction on how to get it out of Ship Mode.
Then your customer would think that you were the smartest person ever and trust you again later.

Here's a trick for ya Matt. If you hold down your brake, and press the gas, your truck will put on a smoke show for ya! Or, when going around a corner, press the gas to the floor. The rear end of the truck will try to pass up the front. Usually they just end up swapping spots.

First one works, second one only 1/2 the time. (Single track rear end. :o )

Heres another, if you're going about 35 mph or so.. slam on the emergency brake. Your back end will spin around and you'll be heading the other direction!

Sure beats pulling in some where to trun around. LOL

I've been known to park my truck like that at school once...I make a sharp left right into my spot, and when it's wet out, that blacktop is like ICE!
And as for the noposi, that's an easy fix.....besides, you've been needing the 3.55s/3.73's.

Or, just run the factory posi on what I believe to be the original rear diff fluid (103K) . It's pretty tight, even light gas around a sharp corner from a stop will leave the inside tire chirping.

Of course the inside tire will chirp, it's got the least amount of traction.

Thats why, since I'm going to have to pull the single track out anyway, it's getting Detroit Lockers's.
Ratcheting, but locked. Not worried about having the inside chirp, I want both tires to burn off, plus it wont spin as long.

I know its an old thread, but I thought I'd add one to the list....

While cruising down the road press and hold the "on" button and the "coast" button on your cruise at the same time. The horn will honk.
Works on my brothers 2003 f150 and my 2003 f350.

Very old thread w/useful info. Wonder what happened to all the people that used to post here...

I like the "hold trip button til start" on my 04. Digital speedo is nifty.
