I know that Ford started building 300hp 5.4L motors in 2004 but they put them those big ole lard butt F150s.

Make it fair sled! Put your mother-in-law in the back to make faces at Dzervit when you run'em but, don't go so fast that he can't see her the whole race. Keep him right there and make him suffer. Heck, he'll be waving a C-note out the window just to end it.

 

I am affraid he would enjoy that just alittle to much..

Good idea Raoul about the mother in law, she could even spit her chew at him to block his visibility.

I wonder when I'll be around the north side? I'd enjoy a nice race. So, is this going to be a 1/4 mile, freeway 50-90 blah blah blah... or a variety of races?

 

any ford short box with a 5.4 has an advantage, the 04 is whieghs up to 500 lbs more depending on the truck, and the 04 stx could have had a 4.6, that's not much to stroke your ego with, my 04 reg cab long box 4x4 with a 5.4 is quicker than a stock super cab or super crew.

 

We can mix and match D. We can do all of the above, we can just keep going till you finally win one or until the mother-in-law gets to cold.

Maybe a drag on snow where your 4X4 will have the advantage.


And to everyone else, didnt think this was some big **** race, just some highway fun and was sharing the story.

It wouldnt have anything to do with the mods, they shouldnt give me that much advantage. The free cats (which by the way are no where near free) and the transgo thing only makes the wheels keep making this weird chipping sound when it goes from 1st to 2nd. The ram air isnt even functional now, ate to much snow, but that Air raid thingy I just installed does seem to make a little difference.

I tell ya what D., I will take out the toranado, remove my speed grill, and tighten my fan belt, as I know thats where the real gains are..

Or if ya want, in the Xmas spirit you can give me $75 now and use the other $ 25 to buy the spanking..

And yep, cant wait for naias, will be going on the 18th..
