Good God, i have never seen worse road conditions. From about 30 miles south of Cape G. in southeast Missouri down to Tupleo, MS, the roads were absolutely terrible. Took me 3.5 hours to drive about 4 miles thru Memphis. Solid Ice everywhere. Saw at least 100 cars in the median, turned over on the side of the road, and jack-knifed 18 wheelers. And to top it off, while traffic was stopped in Memphis, I got out to help an older woman try to get her van unstuck from a snow drift in the median. About got the crap beat out of me by the guy behind me because I didnt move my truck forward about 10 feet when traffic moved a little. He got out of his truck and wanted to fight me....wow some people.

Took 14.5 hours to make a 8 hour trip....

 

Same story here in Little Rock. Snow, ice, sleet it all sucks.
