Don't ever pay full price for a new full version of software!

Just thought I would pass this little tip along to the rest of you guys.

Recently I needed to purchase the newest version of Adobe Photo Shop (CS). I didn't own any of the previous versions so I was looking at spending $600.00+ on a new full version. After scouring the web for many hours I found a way around this.

Listen up...Here's what you do:

Buy an older new unregistered full version of the software you are looking at purchasing. (Older versions are considerably marked down when newer versions come out)

Then buy the upgrade of the newest version that you want.

Install the older version, register it, and then install upgrade after.

You now have a new full version of the software you wanted for a lot less.

I found a seller on eBay that was selling Adobe in a package like this. I paid $332.00 shipped to my door instead of $600.00+ that it was going to cost me!

If you do this, make sure that the older version that you get is upgradable to the new version you are looking to get.

With some software, you are even able to get the oem or academic versions as the older full version and then upgrade from that to the new retail version.

Hope this helps!

It's the 5% that do know and have nothing better to do that we need to worry about. Just like every other forum on the internet, the staff have only one *** to risk.

educational discounts are great. Purdue used to offer students microsoft products for 5 dollars. Windows, office whatever. I made sure to stock up before i graduated. It was an excellent deal. Most schools do this kind of thing. Manged to get the dreamweaver suite for 99 with flash and all that.
