Yes Governor, would you like to pardon the stay of execution and make it a life sentence?

i hated to see the death penaltity but not for his sake, but for her families.
it like this, if he is convicted to life then the day they walk out of court it is on to the next chapter of starting to get back to life and just knowing he is gone and never will return and that he will die in prison.
with the death penaltity they will have to ride it out for probably 8 years until he is put to death and at every appeal and stay of execution the whole thing comes up again. then once he is dead the satisfaction is not what they thought.
so basically this is 10 years from this family having "good" days

brotherdave makesan interesting point, that's why I hope they get him in prison. A lethal injection is an easy way to go, getting garotted to death or bleeding out after being stabbed is much worse. He deserves it.

In CA he'll be on death row for at least 20 years.
