I'm not so much stuck on brands, but for the series in general, I think the Chase to the Cup idea was pretty good, and I think I'll be paying closer attention to the season next year.

Make up their minds? They have been running the same basic package for years. Yeah they thought about going to a 3.5 N/A but that was like 3-4 years ago?

One of the series owners just bought Cosworth, which is the company that supplies motors to Champcar...

I'll be at the Texas Motor Speedway the weekend of April 16, 2005. My friend from Plano, Tx. bought tickets the 1st day of sale. I'll be there with 150,000 race fans from all over the country. I am counting down the days. Boogyty,Boogyty,Boogyty...

A good question would be what is it going to be called next year? The Sprint cup? I did read that they might keep both brand names in the Nextel Sprint merger so it might stay the same. It will be interesting to see how it works out.

You're making me feel old. Has it been that long? I stopped keeping up with champ car racing when they proposed dropping turbos and Honda got out of the series because of it.

Rumor says there's supposed to be spending limits in F1 next season; if so, that should make that series a lot more fun.

Well...it certainly coudn't be any less fun !!!

I used to promote FI as something to watch over NASCAR...they're both equally boring now.

Following a recent segment on BBC Top Gear when they tried it, I favor beat up old cars towing trailers racing against each other....it's hilarious !!

F1 is kinda boring when more or less, it takes a Ferrari or BMW to win, preferably the former.
