Let me BRAG...please
Well, my ISP has finally converted all markets in East Texas. I now have a download of 5MB and an upload of 512kbps.
MAN THIS IS GREAT.
I never thought of internet speed like this in my home. I'm excited. I also got my DVR (digital video recorder) today. Now I will never miss an episode of South Park again. I already have it set to record any/all episodes. How long do you think it would take to fill up a 120GIG HD?

I LOVE my cable modem. I get at least a 3 MB download speed all the time. It's awesome. Software downloads, etc....what a breeze with a fast cable modem.

Have you ever had a DSL connection, and after having a Cable modem, would you ever consider going DSL?
95% of our customers that switch from cable to DSL, usually switch back to cable in 1 to 2 days.

Cable ROCKS
Funny you should mention that. I switched from cable modem to DSL awhile back. I should have known better. DSL totally sucked compared to my cable modem. Granted, I bought the standard speed package...but even with the T1 speed package (1.54 MB), my cable modem would still eat DSL alive...lol So after 2 months of agony, I switched right back to cable.
