According to their reviews for last years model they are still setting the standard. I should have been more specific in my post.

w3rd.

In my experience, it's about 65/35 in favor of the good cops (unless you're on a sportbike then the ratio becomes like 10/90, a lot of cops HATE crotch rocket guys). Oddly, on Halloween, I almost got arrested for being confrontational with a cop. Now don't jump to conclusions, you could tell he was new, as he pulled me over with a much older cop, when they went back to their car to eat their microwave meal, the older cop must've told him to drop his attitude as he was nice as pie when they re-emerged.... He was one of those cops that basically came out of his car beat red pissed off (even though he pulled us over going about 20, not causing any traffic issues to him, or anyone else (long story)) yelling, not wanting to hear anything I had to say.

The new F150 is perfect, it sits in that little tray on the dash. If not there, it's mounted WAY up on the windshield onto the headliner, with power run through the headliner down the pillar to the fuse box. I've never used suction cups, as they can be tuff little bastards to rip off, thus resulting in the 'wiggle' that harleyrider referred to. Never wiggle. You should know your gonna get nailed and have the detector hidden before the cop can get close enough to see WTF your doing. THe whole operation should take < 5 seconds. If it's broad daylight & the cop sneaks up behind you and paces you, leave your detector alone... he saw it and you'll just look like an **** stashing it when he flips his lights on. Use common sense.

I'm very happy to say I've only run across one roboprick thus far...pulled me over for splashing through a puddle in my old F150... coming out of a bar... said it was reckless driving and could have my truck impounded... Good grief... told him I had a few at a the bar but was fine, was driving my other two drunken idiots home. Classic. Long story short, he had to let me go.

Cops in MI rock ('specially State Troopers, they are always so nice!). I've always had pleasant conversations with them, and yeah have gotton a few tickets, but I dzerved them all ('cept one, but that was overturned in court).
