Lightbulb I'm joining the right wing!!!!!

After much thought and consideration, I've decided if 53% of the country voted for President Bush, I clearly must have been wrong. Obviously somewhere along the way I have failed to see the light... Afterall, a democracy makes no mistakes. Soo.... I'm going republican... That's right, to hell with all these liberals thinking they know what is best for the country. The liberals are actually communist sent here to undermine the principals and values this country was founded apon. God doesn't like the liberals, and neither do I. From now on, I am fully behind President Bush on the war in Iraq, and the reasons we are over there. I think we should just keep on bombing the bastards in Iraq untell they agree that a democracy is in their best interest. A few hundred billion is a cheap price to pay for Americans to give the Iraqi's elections in January. (I'm going to be working overtime at work so that more of my tax dollars can be sent to Iraq to get these elections in by December if possible.) If the candidate they elect hates us as much as Saddam, we'll get to start the bombing all over again!!! Furthermore, I've decided that Iraq absolutely was behind 9/11, and supplied financial support, logistical support, and training to the terrorist. (They were just smart enough to hire some Saudi Arabians to do the dirty work to throw the liberals in our country off on whodunit.) God doesn't like Iraq, and neither do I. Last but not least, I've decided that gay marriages in the good-ol US of A are an auful thing. We should band together to block the gays from being together and protect god's viewpoint of what a marriage should be by working together to prey the gays away. God does not like the gays either, and neither do I. So in order to make this country great again.. I'm joining up with the right-wing. To prove my allegiance, I am going to go out and round-up these 'liberals' on the streets and sit them down in front of Brother Sport to get these lost souls converted before it's too late. Can someone tell me where exactly I can find these 'liberals' that are busy at work attempting to undermine the principals and values this great nation was founded apon? Thanks to all of those that have helped me be enlightened. Thanks for your time, and god bless the good-ol US of A.

They had something on tv last night about kerry supporters that needed psychiatric help after his devastating loss.
Maybe you should look into that.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help

i dont think hes bein bitter about the election. I think its more a statement to the way political threads are handled around here and how anyone that isnt republican/conserv seems to get their @ss handed to them everytime they open their mouth. This would be why the powers that be on this board needed to crack the whip and tell everyone to play nice.

Majority Rule.

I say if you don't like the majority of conservatives bashing you constantly, then don't talk politics...

I love waiting until later in the thread for the cliff notes..

I think that it has been a small minority of membership here (representing both political "wings") that have contributed some very acrimonious posts in the recent political threads. To their credit, some other members have been able to contribute to those threads while still showing respect for those whose views they disagree with, too. Most forum "regulars" would probably prefer to get back to the laid back BS'in in the GD forum that made it enjoyable in the 1st place. Continuing to start new political threads with the same inflammatory comments that have been hashed out numerous times is only likely to lead down the same divisive path as all the other similar recent threads...many of us are tired of it.

Regarding the "powers that be...crack the whip", here is a link to the Announcement sticky at the top of the forum:
Announcement: POLITICAL & RELIGIOUS POSTS --- PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
