And of course he went to France, France is a terrorist supporting nation and they should replace Iraq on the list of “axis of evil”

He's here in Paris (Clamart, which is just outside of Paris) and the word is he died yesterday morning (Thursday).

The PLO asked that his death not be announced for 72 hours . . . so don't be surprised if his death is announced on Saturday or Sunday.

(All rumor of course)

Another rumor is that he's being kept alive on life support until they can negotiate a place to bury him . . . I guess religious-wise, custom states that he has to be buried within 24 hours of death. He wanted to be buried in Jerusalem, but that ain't gonna be allowed to happen. So until they can make arrangements where they will dump him they are keeping him "alive". Whatever.

By the way, don't be so hard on the French. The people are all right and believe me, they have no love of middle easterners and Muslims especially.

There are a LOT of Muslims here in Paris (about the largest minority group) and they are not liked at all.

Chirac is a schmuck, and the Govt. is a tad messed up, but do not confuse a people with its Government. For the most part Europeans like Americans (individuals) but they don't love our Government (read Foreign Policy).

France is gorgeous, and Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, so lighten up.

That said . . . . back to Yassar Arafat.

No one I know will mourn or miss the little ***** once he buys it (if he hasn't already). Good riddance.

Now if the rest of the world's radical Muslims would just drop dead, the world would be a better place.

Interesting story here about Chirac. He is refusing to see the new Iraqi leadership, but has time to visit Arafat.

It's funny how this whole web site is so helpful to each other and usually well mannered when it comes to trucks, but in the General Discussion, as soon as world issues pop up, all hell breaks loose. Lack of respect and intolerence is rampant. Never mind respecting other peoples opinions. In today's world where "Global Community" seems inevitable, many people seem to be finding it hard to adapt.

to me this is the biggest joke.

France treats Muslims a lot like... say Blacks in Alabama around 1930. Yet they are the biggest supporters of Muslims when it comes to taking sides between the US and the Middle-East.

I swear its because they just want to **** off the Americans.

That's not an ethnic slur. He is a towel head. He wears one every day. That's like calling me a blue jean man.
