I clocked you doing nearly 11 mile an hour. More than double the legal speed limit.

I hate my neighbors!
No one came to my aid.
They did turn me around when I got to the end of the block.
I ended up black and blue and they got their lawns cut.

When I was done they had the nerve to try an strap a 30 horsepower leaf blower to my back but, I was able to fight them off.

Out here in Montana our speed limit was "reasonable and prudent".

Basically you needed speed rated tires and you needed to stay in control.

The Highway Patrol left you alone.

I had a 5-series BMW and I regularly drove 125 + for several hours at a time. It really eats up the miles in a state that has no towns for over 200 miles at a stretch.

What happened ?

We elected some control-freak Republicans on a law-and-order kick. They said "how can the police give you a speeding ticket if there is no no speed limit" So they created a speed limit, just so they could give out tickets.

Not exactly... someone challanged a "reasonable and prudent" ticket in court. The courts declared the law allowing no posted speed limit unconstitutional. So for about a week there was no law stating to travel "reasonably and prudent" nor was there posted speed limit signs. Your state government was then forced to enact speeding laws very quickly.

From what I remember the story being... (from the news, that where I get my info from, not baseless statements like others) Some guy was driving a sports car (I think it was a porche) at high speeds. His argument was simple, he asked the patrolman if he'd ticket a minivan at 75 - 80 on the interstate. He replied no. The argument was then, he drove a vehicle with a rated top speed of over 150 mph and was driving just over 100, or about 2/3 of his top rated speed, yet the minivan was allowed to drive at a much higher 3/4 of its rated speed (assuming a top speed of 100). Courts agreed and sided with him.

Thats what I remember hearing on the radio on more than one occasion. For what its worth.... I had a farm in Eastern Montana and as such spent alot of time there during that time period.

Now... go spew your propaganda elsewhere troll.

Just did the legal thing last week at Pocono Raceway at about 160mph in a Nascar race car (going fast straight is one thing, totally different when ya gotta turn!)
Drove to the track at a steady 95mph

Illegal- 104mph in my F150 in a 65mhp zone(luckily no blue or red lights)
