Gas Prices?

Gas dropped a few cents yesterday in my area of Southern California
87 231.9
91 251.9
Just under a dollar tax.... sorta peps it up.
The irony is I just got back from the beach. The underground oil boils up at Santa Barbara Beachs so bad you have to clean it off your feet after two minutes on the beach. There are huge tar mounds on the beach. But it's forbidden to pump this oil. Better to buy it from overseas than to 'sully' our bays with oil platforms. OUCH.
Chris.

Or is most of that not actual fuel cost but tax...?

I have heard of plans of going to a fuel mix of 85% ethanol.
Scandinavien countries already pump that kind of fuel.
Doesn´t matter what type of fuel you pump, prices will remain high.
The ethanol mixture will have higher taxes on it also.
So it doesn´t matter, hydrogen cost $10/US Gallon on Iceland I believe.
You guys should be grateful to the European leaders.
Don´t you think all people here would like to drive big cars/trucks V6´s en V8´s also.
Think of that, what would you guys pay at the pump if that was the case.
Probably way over $3/US Gallon.
Gasprice will only go up the next couple of years.
If it hits the $10/US Gallon, I am selling the truck.

Did you ever try to get insurance in NJ? Its so expensive that most companies dont even insure in this state. Allstate, Gieco, Progressive..and im sure a few more. So dont feel cheated. They get us one way or the other.
