Speed Traps: (Let's help each other)
OK, this may be pushing the limit...

I've NEVER gotten a speeding ticket, and don't want to start now. Typically I drive pretty reasonably, but- at times I may be listening to my tunes and may stray 5 miles over the limit. That's why I have a radar detector- I don't want THAT ticket.
Now, if I'm 20, 30, 40 miles over the speed limit, I deserve that ticket. That means I made a conscious choice to speed.
--------------------------------------------
If you're like me, you don't want that BS ticket for a momentary lapse in not watching the speedometer, or moving with the flow of traffic and getting singled out.
So, if there's a speed trap in your area- tell where you see it, and drivers- be careful. I'll start:
----------------------------------------
Plano:
Legacy Drive: (Any School zone, you better to 20, if not 18 or 19, or you'll get nailed)
The bridge west of Preston.
The Verizon building between Custer and Independence.
----------------------------------------
Ohio: (Watch out near Ohio & Parnell) Huge (Multi-cop/multi-car) speed traps.
Ohio & St. Charles
----------------------------------------
Spring Creek: (Between Tollway & Preston)
----------------------------------------
Tenneyson: (You're not safe anywhere on Tenneyson, until you cross Ohio headed east)
----------------------------------------
Parker: Between Coit & Ohio
----------------------------------------
Park: (Go for it)
----------------------------------------
Plano Parkway: (Go for it)
----------------------------------------
Coit: (Go for it)
----------------------------------------
15th: (Go for it- West of Alma, that is; east of Alma, you're asking for it.)
----------------------------------------
Frankford: (Go for it, but- you have DPD and PPD to look out for, near the car-wash on Pear Ridge)
----------------------------------------
Tollway: (Go for it, slow down at the Parker booth though)
----------------------------------------
George Bush: (Go for it between Preston and 75, watch yourself between Preston & Tollway)
----------------------------------------
Rosemeade (My road/ Midrose)): (Go for it)
----------------------------------------
Trinity Mills: (Does my foot smell like gas?)
----------------------------------------
Beltline: (Good luck finding enough space to go over 35.)
----------------------------------------
Midway: (I'd be more concerned about wrecking on there than speeding- some foolish driving going on, on that road)
----------------------------------------
Marsh: (Ditto)
----------------------------------------
75 Central: Traffic moves at 75 anyway (Except for rush-hour(s)); no need to speed.
----------------------------------------
Tollway: Traffic moves at 80, no need to speed.
----------------------------------------
635/LBJ: I avoid it like Ebola.
----------------------------------------
121: (A tollway waiting to happen!!) Right now, too slow.
Now- I don't think I broke any laws by doing this; I hope not. But, if I were you- I wouldn't speed in the aforementioned areas.
