They ran one for me when I asked.

 

I thought the OASIS just showed TSBs and such that were pertinent to your specific model? Does it go beyond that? If so, can someone further explain the necessity?

any time your truck goes to the dealer for work that service report gets logged on the oasis. if you buy a used vehicle what has been service at the dealer then it will show you what work or problems the vehicle has had.
this i what i understand the oasis is.

 

Yea, my boss printed mine out, showed each of the times I had it in for warranty work plus the other info stated above...

 

True..Oasis shows both , any work that has been done to the vehicle at a ford dealership and it also shows any TSB's that are out for the vehicle also. Tha only problem is that ford charges the dealership for every Oasis report, so some dealerships may not want to give it to you. But if you ask nicely, im sure they will do it for you.

OASIS reports also show any open campaigns (recalls) and they'll show warranty history, but only work done within the past 180 days. Axle codes, engine and transmission, build date and most recent calibration codes are on the OASIS as well.
