How about making the same power WITHOUT the S/C
ok lets not mention the '99 cobras?
not quite making the advertised 320hp.
I think Ford learned an expensive lesson, Better to under-rate, and by alot, then be wrong.

HI!... Just remember that FORD massively under rated the COBRA's H.P #'s. My brother's father-in-law has a COBRA and it dynoed out at 386RWH.P, completely bone stock. FORD rates them at 390H.P at the FLYWHEEL. Everyone knows the COBRA engines are making around 425 - 435 (FLYWHEEL) H.P stock. So if their N/A COBRA engine made 370H.P then I would say it's about 60H.P short of the ACTUAL H.P #'s.

I didnt read the article - But your post is incomplete and could be misleading since some of the flywheel HP numbers are missing. Its tough to compare.
You comment about 20 hp with no blower is compared to what ? The same engine on the same dyno with similar tune and a stock supercharger.
I know you didnt intend to leave of the details - its just tough for those of us that havent read the article to piece it together.

Since my puter crashed and I bought a new one, I can't get my scanner to work with XP, so cant upload the article.
The stock Cobra list the Specs as this
2003 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra Technical Data
Engine
Horsepower
390 @ 6,000 rpm
Torque
390 @ 3,500 rpm
http://www.davemig.com/cobraprojects...ra%20Specs.htm
So I was sure stunned to see the Cobra made 370/377 Naturally Aspirated,
which is actually only 20 HP and 13 Ft lbs of Torque less than WITH the Eaton (as Ford Rates it).Sorry Sal / Everyone,
I guess I did make it sound like it was the lower I was referring to "everyone copying", IT WAS THE QUICK CHANGE UPPER I WAS REFERRING TO, sorry bout that. (I EDITED IT TO READ)
