Anyone know of or associated with a Ford powered sprint car.
We put a race built 351w in a car and after having to design some parts and have them made, the assemply time was very long but we made it and now will make these parts for sale to anyone that wants to undertake this kind of project.
We run in a field of all Chevy power except one other Ford.
Guess what! we Fords make more power than the GM engines under the rules and don't have to twist the engines as hard.
Up to now, some special parts to do this could not be obtained on the market.
Our car is an engineering accomplishment.
The other Ford is a coble-togather arrangement but still works and has won 4 features this season and is 4th in points.
We just started a few weeks ago and already the engine shows the power we have (550 HP) on a 4 barrel and Alky fuel at well over 7000 rpm.
Sorry if I am sounding high but this is something in this part of the country where everything is Chevvy powered.
I suspect the heads, rod length and stroke have a lot to do with the power this engine makes over the Chev 350.
