looking to buy F-150

looking to get a used 98-01 f-150... what do you guys all think? How many miles is too much for a used ford truck? My cousins are trying to hate on ford and trying to talk me into a chevy. Do you guys love your trucks? or if you could do it over, would you go with something else...all opinions please.

Ok if your cousins are going to pay the bills for you then yes let them buy you a chevy...If not...then get yourself a good ford 150...Look for a 01 in whatever model you like...look for under 100,000miles or less...Tell what you need use it for / carry in it/ and you can get better info here on what Ford has that will suit your needs...

I had a 99 f150 and loved it, wouldnt trade it for anything, well maybe an 02 Mustang GT, which then traded to my 04 F150. But like its been said, try to find a one owner truck if possible. Deff. have a mechanic look at it before you buy. Im sure anything 98/99 or newer will be a great truck for you. Just look it over real good and take your time. Dont jump at the first one you see. Good luck and let us know what year f150 you bought.

I had a '97 F150 and loved it. Don't worry about the Ford hatin', they don't know what they are missing. Just find a few with low miles and an ESP if possible. Your golden then. Enjoy!
