Our vet got mad and said we have to put her down but its been about 2 months and she can walk on it and she never complains about pain. She'll be 10 in February.

Here she is after getting too close while we were painting.
Yeah the vet said the same thing about my girlfriend's 13 year old Yorkie earlier this year. However, he said she'd never walk again and we should just put her down. Well her brother had just died and we weren't too sure that putty down her dog would be a good next move. So the yorkie stayed laying in her bed for a week.

After a week of rest she walks around the house at a pretty quick pace with absolutely no signs of discomfort or pain. She's being that for almost a year now with no problems. The only thing she can't do is jump up on the couch now.

Hey man....I think you got the wrong pic there. That is a fuzzy chew toy and a cat toy with a hole in it.

Thanks man, she is really pretty. She's got the softest coat I've ever felt on a dog too. And she only gets a bath two or three times a year, so it must be natural.

From the looks of her and the fact that she requires a bath only a few times a year, I'm going to say she has one of the sledding breeds in her. Possibly Husky. Most of the sled dog breeds have very little doggie odor about them. Casey, our husky mix, never gets bathed, she just doesn't smell, at all. Only time she gets a bath is if she rolls in something funky.

I've posted Casey here already but that was way back, here she is again and our dog Harley too:

You know... I was having an ultra-crappy day at work today and I pulled up this thread... it's amazing what a pooch will do to a crappy day at work... Before I knew it, I was re-focused and getting stuff done.

I love dogs.
