First Mod!!!

Hey everyone. Been gone for a little bit. Good news, I got my first true MOD! It should come to my doorstep this week. I ordered an air intake system from Downs Ford. Nice looking system for $150.00. Much cheaper than most sites I’ve seem. I think it just absurd that some systems cost up too $250.00. Here’s the site if anyone is interested. Good prices all around. www.downsford.com/motorsports.htm

Put in my new air intake this morning

I installed my new MAC intake this morning. Took about an hour. Pretty easy, the directions supplied were pretty useless but it’s all mostly comment sense anyway. Most people can probably do it in less time, but I took my time, laid everything out, went slow. That way I didn’t get frustrated which I usually do while wrenching. The test drive was awesome, when I opened it up it really had a nice deep tone as the engine kicked in. The new air filter is about twice as big as the stock and it’s wide open to get plenty of air into it. I’m really happy with the kit, looks great, sounds good and the little HP boost was noticeable. A very nice buy I think for $150.00.
