Help!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my 2002 150 crew in for a check -up and J.C. Lewis Ford in savannah georgia left my vehicle outside
with the moon roof open. Guess what happened. Yeah, both cupholders were filled to the rim with water. All carpet and the leather interior was drenched.
They admitted it was their fault but the general manager Tom Borkowski suggested with a little clean up it would be good as new. (yeah Right)
They wanted to put me in a taurus till I made them let me drive a new 150. I need a truck to work.
Low and behold, 2 days later my truck was ready. When I asked what they did to it, some guy named Dave, couldn't tell me.
He did say that the carpets were not removed but the seats may have been popped out.

I have not picked my vehicle up yet. Waiting on my insurance guy to see it.

My biggest fear is the damage to the electronics that may or may not happen
tomorrow or the next day or two years from now.
I am prepared to be inconvenienced until I'm completely satisfied.
By satisfied I mean new carpet, new seats(not seat covers)
and a Ford warranty from hell. (that's no questions asked)

Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks, Tal Willis

I wouldn't be too concerned if it happened only once and was dried up right away. Long term exposure to moisture is more damaging.

before you take the truck back, have them put it in writing that they screwed up.

So in the case that the electronics foul in 2 years, this is your root cause... because an independant 3 rd party mechanic will diagnose the problem for you and you then have legal recourse at that time.

My question is "why was the sunroof open"?

Unless they were repairing it, there was no need to have it open in the first place.
