Baseball Madness!! I LOVE IT!!

Who else heard about this incident at a Texas Rangers game?! BBwwwwaahhhh hah hahhha! You texans crack me up! I don't understand why everyone got so upset - he barely touched the little brat. Mom was flippin' out for whatever reason. Uuuhhhh.. has nobody ever seen those fools dive over people punching kicking for a friggen' ball? I thought this was rather tame!!! I'm glad the guy didn't give up the ball, he earned it!!!

The link also has video!! They don't play all of the incident, but you get the idea... Ow, my ribs.. so much laughing...

I think the guy needs his butt whooped. It's a dang baseball for crying out loud! What the heck is he going to do with it? It'll probably end up in his sock drawer next to his d!ldo. The little kid on the other hand would have really gotten a kick out of it, would have showed it off to all of his buddies, slept with it under his pillow at night, kept it on his nightstand while he was at school, etc.

When I was 8 years old, I was at a Braves game. I had Dale Murphy's rookie card in hand. We got to the game about 4 days early so I could get autographs (really so dad could pound beers while I was down there). Anyway, good ol' Dale was just coming out of the dugout and I was one of about 12 or 15 kids standing there. He started signing stuff and finally it came to be my turn. I gave him the card, he said, "Hey kid", or something like that and my knees got weak. Anyway, he signed the card and slid it back to me over the top of the dugout. Back then, the tomahawk on top of the dugout was actually made of wood and screwed into the dugout (now it's painted on). When he slid it to me, it slid up under the tomahawk and we couldn't get it out. So, in turn, after the game, he took his jersey off, signed it, took his batting gloves out of his pocket, signed them, took his hat off signed it, and gave all 4 items to me. I couldn't believe it. I was in awe, and still am.

I've been waiting a long time to tell that story! Thanks for the opportunity!

~Cliff Notes~

The guy need is a$$ kicked.

Dale Murphy signed his jersey, batting gloves and hat that he wore in the game and gave them to me because he lost my rookie card.

'
The guy DID in fact get his **** kicked. Apparently some folks followed him and his girlfriend out, and kicked the living ***** out of him in the parking lot

To this day he is my favorite player. He was really cool with the kids, and from what I understand, he still is.

and this is funny? So, the kid didn't get the ball... Wah! It's no reason to kick the guys ***. It would have been the nice thing to do, but there's nothing to say he HAD to...

It's a ****ing game with overpaid crybabies to begin with. There's hasn't been baseball worth watching in many, many years...

I wouldn't waste my money to go. I like baseball, I just can't stand to go see a bunch of grown men, who get paid more than the most powerful man in the world, play, and then turn around and cry that they don't make enough money. It's a game! Well, it used to be a game, now it's just a big advertisemtent...

However, I wouldn't risk jumping on a kid to get a baseball, at a pro game or a little league game...

I'm siding with closer on this one. I thought it was great the guy dove, the kid wasn't hurt, and even better he refused to give up the ball. The kid got a ton of crap anyway... the folks who kicked his **** are WAY worse than the guy in my book. Funny sheet, I tell you!

I agree about the whole pay thing and them bitching about not making enough money, but...

...is a little overkill, don't you think?

Had it been two grown men, or two kids, I would agree. But when you have a 200+ lb lardass on a 7 year old kid, you have to draw the line. I mean, come on.

Plus, the kid got all of this crap out of pity! It's not the same.
