I see more offensive, dangerous behavior everytime I drive across town on the Expressway.

The mom looks like she got a little scared - hey, some strange guy was falling over near her kid. It's perfectly natural to have an instinctive 'anger' reaction if you think your child might be endangered. But when she saw the kid was OK and it was all no big deal, she should have calmed down within a minute or two and laughed it off.

The announcer was way out of line. If he hadn't made such a big deal out of it, this 'story' never would have been repeated. And I'll bet some of the vigilantes who put a whooping on the guy were listening to the broadcast while at the game...

I agree with you, "dirk bike dave," concerning the announcer's comments. His comments turned a normal fan's reaction to a foul ball to a guilt verdit at a murder trial.

Had the little meatball tried to catch the flying ball with his soft developing skull mommy would have ran out and found a lawyer and together they would have sued for millions

Burt, that is just so funny in so many ways.

If that Fat a$$ did get his a$$ beat, he should sue the park, team, and anouncer for it.

Sled...

Flat out calling the guy a "jerk" on a television broadcast will get that announcer in trouble. This will be a fun story to watch, especially when the ACLU gets a hold of it. This guy may have been a "jerk" according to the announcer, but my prediction is that he is going to end up with free box seats for life...
