It is NOT a production car and it WILL be crushed.

You know, while looking at that GT in a Ford showroom this nightmare of a thought popped into my mind.
You buy one of those from a Ford Dealer (bad enough) but what about service? Reading some of the horrific stories some of the Lightning owners have had at Ford Service (I've got one of my own), can you imagine taking a GT into your local Ford Dealer and letting them fix it? (God only knows what those monkeys would do when test driving it). And the recent post of the Vette falling off the lift at a dealer service (granted, it was Chevy, but still) . . .
It's a great car I'm sure, howeever, in this case the down side is it's a Ford ( I mean I like Ford as much as anyone here, but let's be honest, 150,000.00 supercars are not exactly their league.)
PS...
In that forum someone mentions that Leno paid 350K for his . .
There is no way that is true. I can assure you that Ford gave that car to Leno at their cost if not less. the media exposure value would be worth more than the cost of the car if he drove it.
Carry on.
