I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but really folks. How many grades did you make it through in school? Your spelling is abominable!! It's terrifying to see how many people are incapable of correctly communication using English. Examples:

Gas Petal (your truck is not a flower)
Gas Peddle (are you trying to sell it?)
Gas Pedal (YES!)

Congrads (are you graduating? I bet not)
Congradulations (once again, THERE'S NO D!)
Congratulations (correct spelling)

Oil Leack!!!???? (please tell me that's a typo)

Brake Sqwealing (HOLY CRAP!!! Please tell me you've only lived in this country for only a week.)
Try: Squealing

Trailor (is this a new comic book character?)
Let's break this one down. Trail (to follow). One who trails, trailer, just like that thing you hooked to the back of your truck.

It's one of those things you'll have to get used to. I think that as long as you can understand the post, this is really a non-issue.

It may be a little hard to deal with, but there's a very diverse group of people here...that's one of the things that makes this board great.

You may want to tone it down a little too. I am sure we have a few members/visitors of this forum who have not completed the level of education that is up to your standards. Such is life. That's what makes the world go 'round. The world needs ditch diggers too. Some of the bests posts are made by these people.

You know what's going to be funny though? You're pegged as someone that is really bothered by this. Every thread you start from here on out will have some very interesting replies!

I'm not talking about typos and single instances. These excerpts are used multiple times throughout a post. The authors truly believe it is the correct way to spell it.

Have some respect for the language. It's a standard. We need to maintain it and comply with it in order to have a modern, useful society.

That's why it's a core component of our education from entry until exit.

Sure, we can communicate using misspellings and phonetic ramblings. We also use slang. And that's fine so long as you know and use the basis of the language.

But when you don't know how to spell that indicates illiteracy and it's plain that illiteracy rules in third world countries and those that lack any civil advances. I don't care to live in such conditions and therefore extol the uses of advanced and standardized communication.

My spelling can be abdominal at times too, but your id is misspelled.

It should be either eclair, the chocolate-frosted dessert, or if you are referring to the city or other proper name, it should be Eau Claire.

Now, back to 7th grade with you!

 

Since you are a Web Programmer and it bothers you that much, just volunteer your time and ask the mods to let you add spell checker the this site. Problem solved.
