It should be either eclair, the chocolate-frosted dessert, or if you are referring to the city or other proper name, it should be Eau Claire.
It's my last name, and I'm not named for a pastry or a city.

It's terrifying to see how many people are incapable of correctly communication using English.
Also, is it really terrifying? You must scare easily. And what exactly does correctly communication mean?
