heard about this Dodge MaxxCab?
holy crap it looks like they cut off past the 2nd row on the grand caravan and put a pickup bed on it. what next, power sliding rear doors? just when ya thought dodge couldnt do any worse. they continue to amaze me.....
Let me put on my flame suit here.....
OK, there we go....
Actually, I think it looks pretty good....
And as far as Chrysler products go, I have to disagree with NotScru'dYet and say I have been nothing but impressed with what Chrysler is putting out these days. They are the only manufacturer out there who is doing something different, and their designs are quite good IMHO.
The Crossfire is great looking and the new
Crossfire Roadster (convertible) is cool.
The New 300C with the 5.7 liter (excuse me for saying this....Hemi) is nothing short of one really great car....
Have been seeing a lot of the 300s around here and they look impressive. Went to the dealer and I must say the build is impressive.
I was in FLA for a week and a half and we rented a Pacifica, and I must say that I was impressed (except it could use a bigger engine). It's great looking, interior was nice, build was good, it was all around an impressive vehicle.
But then...to each his own.
You may not be partial to their design, but you've got to admit, Chrysler is being different and bold, which is more than I can say for Ford these days...all you have to do is look at the new Ford Five Hundred to see what dull and boring is all about.
OK Flame away.

I don't like the minivan w/ a truck bed design but the crossfire, 300c and the magnum are not bad looking vehicles. DC is certanly getting their mileage out of that "HEMI" aren't they? GM has a great engine in the GTO but superbland looks. A six door truck seems excessive, even with a 5.5' bed it would still be a boat, imagine trying to park that thing.
We had something HUGE around here for a while, it was a centurion kind of thing. It was the old body style dodge truck that had 4 full doors and an extension behind it. Then to top it off it was a long bed. I could just imagine going down the road when the frame snaps. I think they eventually sent it off to auction. Just couldn't sell it here.
Six doors! How many of you have looked at you truck and said, "Daym...If this thing only had a few more doors"? I think the product planners missed the mark on this one.
I didn't think that Dodge could make their truck any uglier, but after seeing that concept, I stand corrected.

I agree, styling is going to change, we just have to adj to what they make. I know a lot of people think the 97-03 F150s don't look good, but I think it is the best looking truck Ford has put out in over 40 yrs.

I do like the 300 though.

I'm glad they went for "in your face" styling. Too many cars from Toyota, Honda and others are just bland and unexciting.
