Have you checked the laundry basket? Could be it's with your oversized sweater and favorite Levi's.
That was my thought as well.

this is too funny.

I just bought a cordless for the wife the other day. This after a prohibirion on cordless phones in our household.

My thing is, I don't want to look for it when it rings.

So I told her that if she loses this one, thats it. No more cordless phones.

Maybe I should be passing this advice on to Mrs Habibi.

Talking

The last place you look will be the first place you find it.

Well...?

Habibi,

Don't leave us hanging.
Did you find the phone, or buy a new one? (Or did you find the phone after buying a new one...)

John

The phone is still MIA but there is some good news:

We sold our house yesterday, and the closing date is July 30th.
I am confident it will turn up by then

I was going to say the fridge, too. Did you ever find it, Habibi? Where was it? RP, his wife can't call, she doesn't have a phone!

The piano tuner was here yesterday and he found it in the internals where the hammers are.

That would have been the first place I looked.

Which begs the question, how in the heck did it get *INSIDE* the piano!?

You wouldn't believe some of the places I've found things. Most of the time it's in the fridge right next to the beer. No kidding. I have found my cell phone there twice.

I was going to use the comment about finding it in the last place you looked, but ChiDiver beat me to it.

Glad it showed up!

We first noticed it missing sometime in June (I think)
I wasn't too worried about it because we were in the midst of selling our house and buying a new one, so my logic told me it would turn up eventually, at least by the time we were all packed up on moving day.

Moving day was July 9th, and still no phone!
So my wife is having a great time busting my nuts over it.

I remember playing the piano one day, and I probably had the phone on the little ledge over top of the keyboard.
After I forgot it there, the stupid cat probably rubbed himself on it, and it fell into the part where the hammers are.
The panel that covers up the innards basically just sits there, it's not secured.
