It appears as though you are convinced you don't, however. You also seem fairly confident that we still sold your email address...less than 24 hours after you registered, I might note. Sounds like you are at an impass.
i'm a firm believer that anything is possible. with all the measures i've taken to rid my machine of spyware and tracking cookies it's possible some has been missed.

at an impass? nah, i can move on. and as somebody else said, "spam is a fact of life", yeah i guess you're right about that. as long as there's money to be made sending SPAM, the computer user should know they'll have to deal with it. doesn't mean we gotta like it though.

by the way....

1997 ext. cab 4x4 green lariat F-150 w/ 4.6. hole in the drivers seat leather where my black lab (in all his excitement) jumped in and caught his toe nail.

i live in the greater portland, (tigard) oregon area, married with two baby girls 3 and 2. i've got a ba in electrical eng., mcse certified and work for intel.

i'll go ahead and put this topic to rest. you all have convinced me that the auto related SPAM i'm getting is NOT related to me signing up for this forum. i'm sorry for any hard feelings i may have caused.

sincerely

You know we got 3 email addresses when we signed up with Comcast a few years ago. Since there was only myself, my hubby & our daughter (now 2) we put one in each name. Since then the only one to get any SPAM is our daughter. She gets all the crap from mortgages to viagra & ***** enlargement adds. Go figure.

I would say that it is time for you as a parent to monitor her internet usage. It's obvious she wants to move out and get her own place due to 'mortgage spam' she's getting. As far as the other stuff, those are issues I'm not trained to deal with at this time.

My kids didn't want to leave home until they were six.

Most likely!
Since you are so afraid of "spam" maybe you should trade in your computer for a etch a sketch, or something.. Hours of fun!

Does having pictures of hooters girls on your sig. showing everytime you post help boost your ego?
Nah, it's when the local hooters asks for a copy of the picture to put up in the restaurant that gives me the "boost".

hahahahaha

Maybe its the thought of having to share the house with a little brother that is pushing her away. At least I know she'll always come home for racing weekends.

dvickery,

I find it hard to believe that you got spammed because of this site. I have a few questions. Is your name Dave? Does your e-mail address start with your user name (dvickery) followed by two numbers .... then by comcast.net? Just curious.
