Can anyone recommend the best place to stay on Tybee island the wife and I are planning a vacation there in June? We are considering the Ocean Plaza Resort good or bad? Any advice welcome.

 

I live along the coast but not by Tybee. Isn't that by Savannah? Never stayed there so can't tell ya much...

Yeah, Tybee is just out of Savannah. My daughter went to Savannah few years ago to have her wedding and the wife wants to go back for a little vacation. Thanks anyway for you help.

my wife and i stayed in the georgian inn in 2002. it was ok,nothing great but clean, small,we like old inns and b&b's
next time we will probaly stay at the bed and breakfast near the lighthouse(the lighthouse is the reason we went to tybee)
also st simmons island is nice (a little futher south also with a nice lighthouse)

 

On St. Simons here
