Question Who's Pack'n?

Who carries a handgun? If you are, are you doing it legally? Just wondering. In Ill. we can't.

If I was, I wouldn't post that I was doing it illegally. That's a felony you know.
but anyway, I'm not.

Who Has Automatic Weapons?

Hi Everybody...just wonderin' who has automatic weapons? Ever use them in the comission of a crime? Who here has killed someone? Anyone here have large quantities of illegal durgs in their house? Also curious if you've ever been involved in a hit-and-run (as the driver who ran)? And while I'm asking...anyone here ever blackmailed anyone? Any counterfeiters here? Anyone with offshore bank accounts they don't declare to the IRS?

If so, could you post your name, address, phone-number, what you did, and the day and time you committed the crime?

Just curious. Thanks.

Kobiashi:

All of the above, especially those illegal durgs.

Had a bad day, could not resist.

Peace.

I've done all the above a lot...

But seriously, yeah, I need to carry my Lethal Tupperware... (Glock) legal in NC if you have a permit, which you can get if your record is clean and you go through a buncha other stuff.

WA state is a shall issue state. As long as your record is clean, and you have the $, 30 day waiting period and you have it. May sound funny for such a liberal state but thats the law so far. Vote early and vote often!

Unhappy ok, you got me

I am NOT a gun nut, but one day....
a friend who happened to be a cop said "hey, let's go shootin!?"
Being from Idaho, said "Hell ya!" but....I only had a single action 357 magnum. So he asked around and found a friend on the force who had a....drum roll....
a Glock 20 (10 mm) 15 shot mag (BBA that is...Before Brady Act) and Titanium night sights (they glow for years without any light source)

Ohhhh myyyyyy gawwd!
Talk about unleashed horsepower!
I was hooked and bought it on the spot (the cop who had it couldn't handle it accurately)
Aside from the fact that shells are a little hard to find and spendy, I sure sleep better with that baby on the night stand.
Ps, the reason I bought it was because I lived in Alaska at the time.....lot's of fly-in fishing trips........with the bears.
I figured I'd have at least 15 chances to live (16 if I jack one in the chamber) if I ever happened across one. Fortunately, never had to prove THAT therory!

Yep I carry. I have three handguns registered that I can carry, not at one time though . I shoot in match shoots and friendly compitions and it great fun. My wife shoots at times too, and is also registered for ccw. I have a 40 s&w, and 2 45 ACP, and if you come to my door in the middle of the nite I will be happy to show them to you.

Sled...

In Mi you can not let it be seen in public. I use either a shoulder, under the arm, or a high mounted belt holster. I prefer the latter. I also use a speed holster for comp shooting and when wandering out in nature.

Ohio starts their Conceal carry April 8th. I've gone through the necessary training. I just need to submit my application. Ohio's got some weird things with their law though.

You need to conceal it when in public but when you get in your car or other motor vehicle it needs to be Visible or locked in a case in open view... What's up with that? Plus my truck doesn't have a locking glove box. What are you supposed to do if you're on a motorcycle? Technically it needs to be in plain site. I can imagine the responses I'll get riding my Sportbike down the road with my gun visibly mounted on my belt.

Hopefully they'll fix these issues but I'm not counting on it. I'm still deciding whether to get my permit or not. Seems like a big hassle. Plus you can't carry in government buildings, college campus', where they "serve" alcohol (this can get pretty tricky in itself), etc.

What if I'm on my bicycle? Is that a motor vehicle? The sad thing is, if you screw up, it's a FELONY offense!! No room for errors on a law with a lot of uncertainties....

i dont need a handgun. its legal in texas (or at least houston) to carry a loaded rifle or shotgun around with you. one of those old laws that they never bothered to get rid of. that means anyone over 18 can legally walk around downtown houston carrying a loaded shotgun (or any rifle), as long as its not concealed
