Also, I used to run a detailing/engine/body shop. As far as the detailing goes, the more you work with your hands, the better the job gets done. I mean, you'll have to use the occasional shop vac, but other than that, it isn't really high-tech. You'd do fine once you got the hang of it.
Alright, now this makes sense. Ford would expect a 2 week delay before I start working (if I got the job). I'm still not sure if it's a great idea or not. Would I have to use any orbital buffers... the things that have cords that spin real fast? Not real sure what they're called, but... I have no experience in that either. I do, however, have experiences with vacuums.

What would I expect if I got hired there? Would the stereotype of a bunch of sweaty guys all drooling over one chick, hold true? Life's not too fair if you're a female. If I was a guy, my parents wouldn't have any problem with this. Although my mom said it'd be "another story if I wanted to be a mechanic" or something like that. I dunno.. I just want to do something enjoyable and be in an environment that makes me happy. Am I too young to ask for that? Parents say it's all about the money, at my age.. well there's such a thing as being happy, too, right? ...

J-150,
I wont. Although it really isn't any of her business, either. Even if I am looking, I am still her employee so she shouldn't feel weird to be paying me, because I am employed and doing my job.
