sleddogg,

I have another idea so tell me what you think, or anyone else for that matter. We can have a fat tax. Liberals will love that and the way this new tax system will work is by placing a weight scale in every business that sales junk food.

Along side the scale will be an instrument to measure ones height. There will be a chart and a “federal” worker to measure each persons height and then weigh them.

The chart will state what is considered a “reasonable” weight for ones height and one for males and one for females.

IF someone is over weight as to the chart, interrupted and controlled by the new federal worker (Liberals should jump for joy because we are not just creating a new tax but JOB’S as well) anyway, the federal worker will allow the person to place their order for the junk food desired (Don’t want to take peoples choice away)

The overweight person will pay a tax of $1 per pound they are overweight. This is a win-win situation. First, like cigarettes and alcohol it will deter some overweight people from buying junk food. Those that are loaded with cash will fund their own weight loss programs ran by, OTHER federal workers (Liberals have to creaming themselves now MORE NEW JOB’S)

So if tubby goes in to buy a Big Mac at $1.50 but is 35 pounds overweight tubby will pay a total of $36.50 (Tubby is really going to have to want that Big Mac…)

This is the fair way of doing it. People who are not overweight can eat as they please and still maintain the choice of eating junk food. Overweight people will still have the freedom to eat junk food as well…

The only people that will be completely pissed off about my program are the trial lawyers who are ONLY looking out for THEIR best interest in making money. Trail lawyers do NOT care about people themselves, they do NOT care about those that smoke and die and they do NOT care about those that weigh 3 tons from NO self control, they ONLY care about making money and the bottom line…

So, who is on board with the new 01 Fat Tax?

Well what about bodybuilders and those in the strongman competitions?

They are above the recommonded weight for the size, but are obviously not fat.

I've seen a machine that measures body fat by percentage through electrical means. We used to get this test for our Offshore Rig Medicals because they brought in a height to weight ratio which ran into exactly the same kind of problem.
I suppose it's some kind of glorified capacitance meter. That would work. Just zap old lardy with the machine and if he still wants the junk food, crank up the voltage.
I'll bet that Burt could whip up a new design pretty sharpish

Hmmm, problems with the damn program already…

You all are not making this easy therefore this calls for new provisions. Sounds like we may need to tweak the training program for are new “federal fat marshals” perhaps some kind of “jiggle” test is in order.

Obviously the body builder types won’t have a problem with major “jiggle” with skin on the arms and legs therefore if a person is in question we can have the “federal fat marshal” instruct the person in questions (PIQ) to the JIP or JAW station where they will be greeted and tested by the “federal jiggle marshal”…

What do you think?

Oh, JIP = Jiggle In Process, JAW = Jiggle And Wiggle…

I am extremely surprised that the board members of liberal background have not came by to congratulate me on creating a new tax system and creating most likely another 5 – 8 million new jobs in just one post…

The body builder shouldnt be a problem. Dont see many body builders with twinkies stuffed in their mouths.

Not sure 01 XLT, wont the liberals cry this tax is only goin to hit the poor , working man, and elderly most because they cant afford healthy foods. What you will need to do is as you stated, but have an income factor for the tax. Body fat X $ 1.00 X income bracket.. 15k or less actually get a dollar back.
15k to 45k pay the dollar
45k to 90k pay the dollar X.10 of total
90k to 200k pays 2 dollars
200k and up pays 2 dollars plus the amount of any person that made less than 15 k that was weighed before them.
That should please everyone ( meaning Dems) now its fair.

Good idea 01 XLT, that job creation should off set all the jobs going overseas.
