Freedom of speech
I don't see a problem with the Koran as long as the Torah and Bible are posted along side it. The militants Muslims who turn out to be terrorists are no different than the terrorist we call Inquisitors in the middle ages. The only difference is the scope of their battle and the number of people they are able to injure is greater with the advancment of technology.
I think some misunderstood my last post. I did not say it was ok to post the 10 commandments but not other religions or that it was ok to put up anything in regards to religion.
What I was trying to disseminate was the fact that if the majority of parents decided on a particular religious symbol being put up or all religious symbols being put up or not any at all that it was perfectly fine with the Constitution.
The Constitution “specifically” states that the government, which means any form of government, be it local, city, state or federal has no “legal” right whatsoever to say one way or the other what can be put up or not put up.
What we are doing as far as arguing what can or cannot be put up or talked about is exactly what the Constitution intended, for us the people to decided and do what we wish when it comes to the religion, not the government in any form…
Therefore groups from both the liberal and conservatives trying to state that it is a Constitutional right or not are completely wrong. There is nothing in the Constitution that states a school has the right or does not have the right to teach and have symbols of religion, the Constitution in its most simple form tells the government to BUTT OUT of the debate because they have no business in the debate to begin with…
However, as much as it may pain some people America was founded and based and the Constitution written based on Christian beliefs. That is the fact and it will never change no matter how much some people may whine about it.
Time for those to accept the facts, wipe their tears and move on…
