retractable side steps?

I saw these things a while back. When the door is closed it's pulled up against the frame, but when you open the door it folds down into a step, and goes back after you shut the door. Seems like Dodge was offering them on new trucks. Mom is looking for something for her Ranger Edge, and all the trucks she seen or tried with running boards she says the boards are all up to high to do her any good. She also liked the idea of it not really sticking out or being seen...

So, my question is... Can anyone tell me where I might find a retractable side step?

thanks...

do a google search for the following:
Kodiak Sidewinder

That's what you're looking for (I think)

That's it.

They don't show a listing for Rangers, but they do have one for up to '01 Explorers. When did they change the Explorer away from the Ranger platform? Or is the new Explorer still on the Ranger platform?
