Excellent Customer Service from Jeg's!
A few weeks ago the water pump went out on my '88 F-150 (the whole story is in the old junker forum). Long story short, I knocked a hole in the timing cover. I ordered the new parts from Jeg's, a new cover and a bolt set. The parts came and the cover was made for a carbureted engine... it had a mechanical fuel pump hole that needed a block off plate and it was not an exact match. I made a trip to the Ford dealer and bought the stock cover so I could get my truck going (down nearly two weeks). I put it back together and the majority of the new bolts didn't fit. Luckily I had enough old bolts to reassemble it since only five of the fifteen new bolts fit.
I called Jeg's and told them I needed to return these parts, even the partially used bolts. They got the supervisor on the phone and I told him the problem I had. He was a great guy and understood the trouble I had. He said box up everything and they will send FedEx out to get it. They paid shipping back and refunded my entire purchase amount. It's been a long time (maybe forever) since I've had customer service that good. It was like buying car parts from Wal-Mart.
Two thumbs up for Jeg's!
