Bomb Threat At School

so i was sitting in my agriculture class at about 9:30 this morning, and i hear lots and lots of sirens going off, so i look out the window. after a minute of the sirens just getting louder and louder, i saw several big black and white trucks pull up and slam on the brakes in front of the school, followed by fire trucks, police, ambulances, and the whole works. i look on the first trucks and read "Bomb Squad". naturally i stood up in the middle of class and said "Oh sh** the bomb squad is here". teacher was about to yell at me, but just then the fire alarm sounded. since i said the bomb squad was there, it just scared people so they started running out of class and down the halls yelling "THERES A BOMB IN THE SCHOOL!" luckily that didnt get out of hand, it was too loud for most people to hear. we got outside and the administrators made all 3,500 students cram at the very end of the sports fields. saw cops running in with dogs and guys in these huge suits. after a while they walked out slowly and talked to the principal. they all got back in their cars and left, except for the fire truck. the principal said it was ok to go back in they found nothing.

it was an interesting day. first time ive been anywhere during a bomb threat. it was pretty intense since i saw the bomb squad pull up.

I guess that's not as bad as going to a movie and yelling "FIRE!".

Wait a minute, ....yes it is.

That happened when I was in high school. Except they all just sent us home, didnt even bother with trying to make us stay. Seems someone thought it would be a good idea to get a backback and fill it with PVC pipes, bateries and wires.

W00t free day off!!

I can recall 4 or 5 times that a bomb threat happend while I was in school....

So, people run down the halls screaming 'THERE'S A BOMB!!!' rather than just pulling the fire alarm to evacuate? Seems a bit silly and exaggerated.

Glad everything was okay though. I'm not sure I've heard of a school blowing up from a 'so-called' bomb inside but, in today's day and age, who the hell knows.........
