Small business owner in the Detroit area. Manufacturer of aluminum awnings. Small stuff compared to some on this board. But if anyone is in need of an awning, I would be proud to help out a fellow boardmember.

Working Hard For My MOney
First.. Thanks to all you guys serving us all in the military. Served a couple of years myself when we had a draft( I know some of you remember that). Some of the best and some of the worst days of my life. Now everyone is a volunteer and I have the utmost respect for what you do no matter where you serve or what you're doing there. Everyone is a very important part of the operation. Active service or retiree.. Thanks!!
Myself.. I'm a electrical/instrument technician for the largest consumer products company in the world. Love my job but I'm almost ready to live the good life (retire) and let someone else do it. Seems as though us blue collar guys are out numbered on this forum but we certainly do have a diverse group here..

Wow! Such a diverse group... I would say that every one has an important job/occupation. It certainly takes a lot of us to keep the economy going. Personally, my job may sound good and the pay is great. However, my daily problems and constant down-sizing are killing me. I'd give my job up for a simpler one that pays a lot less.
I handle auto claims for a large insurance company. The only things that keep me going are the crazy people I talk to, my F-150 and a big bottle of Jack Daniels.
God Bless all of you men and women who have served and are currently serving for our country. Please know that we are all praying for you and yours.
