My bills get paid because I drive to a compound and show my badge to a guy with a gun, then I can access the parking lot. Then I walk to the bldg and have to scan in with my badge, wave at more people with weapons, walk to my office door where I scan in yet again, and then see the same boring people over and over again 5 days per week. I have no idea what most of the people do here and they don't know what I do either. I suppose it would make for interesting conversation at the smoke pit, but I don't smoke, so I don't really know. I'm thankful for the money, but this isn't my passion. Trying to figure out what to do next...

i work for a uaw seat manufacturing plant near kc. we built seats for the escape, tribute, and the mariner. last year we worked six days a week, ten hours a day. since returning from christmas shutdown(which was extended to three weeks) we have been five days a week, and only six hours a day. wow how the checks get smaller.
