I use to play this game a lot last year and then the site that was hosting it moved.

My best score was a 24 IIRC. I could get a hole in 1 on just about every hole.

Damn, I used to be REAL good at that game. I think I pulled a 21 one time.

Got an 18 but you will have to figure out how I got it. Not really cheating but not really fair.

I don't want to ruin it for everyone.

 

I just went back through my IRC logs when I was playing the game. I regularly scored a 22-24. Once in a while I could get a 21.

There are a couple of holes where it just isn't possible to hit the ball hard enough to get a hole in one. I am definitely curious how you did this

You can get a hole in one on every hole and not have to cheat. Just figure out where to place the putter and the ball and you will sink it everytime!!!

 

As I said, there are holes where I could not hit the ball hard enough even if I was lined up perfectly.

The 8th hole is one of the holes that I have never been able to hit it hard enough to get a hole in one. It may be possible with higher resolution but on the monitor I play on, I could not make the window large enough to hit the ball hard enough.

Way back when....I got hooked on that game and played it all the time.

The first time I played I scored in the 30's.

Eventually I was able to get a holoe in one on every hole, but there are some holes where that isn't always possible...
(the windmill for instance is a crap shoot)

Best score I got in a single round was 19 and I only did that once. Have scored 21 numerous times....

but then I got bored. It's been a while since I played. Tried it this time and shot 28....got keep playing to stay tuned to it.

Careful though...it's addictive.

 

Ok so I just scored a 19. I seem to recall having done that several times before so I am looking for the IRC logs. It's been so long since I played that I can't find the logs any more.

WOOO! Found the logs! Regular scores of 20-21 not 22-24 as I originally thought. Best I ever did was a 19 which happened a few times. Nobody that I knew of was ever able to get a perfect 18.

Like I said before it is not cheating. I really did get a hole-in-one on every hole. I just have a way to do it without starting the game over at the beginning...hint...hint...

 

Yeah, I played that game a while back. I too got an 18. How do you do it, you ask? Well, you can play the same hole over and over until you get a hole-in-one. If you don't hit it in the first time, just right-click on your mouse and select "back," then right-click again and hit "play." Now you can start the hole over again. Do it as many times as needed until you get a hole-in-one.
