Amazed
That's because most people will only go to one source for information. In this day and age you have to watch both angles pretty close. There is no such thing as straight forward and unbiased media coverage any more.
Things I go for....
Talk radio
cable news FNC, MSNBC,CNN
a little CSPAN (crap can put you to sleep)
and every once in a while I'll watch Dan Blather on CBS
Then, of course, the message boards are a good place for opinion pieces

while this is true, there are some outlets that have a non-partisan approach. Their biases are restricted to beliefs, not party dogma.
Most people will not read books anymore either. They have no way of knowing what is quoted to them in the media (printed or electronic) is true or taken entirely out of context. And very many people take advantage of this, to use their powers of persuasion over the lazy illiterates.
The liberals, the hollywood crowd and the homosexual agenda are very successful at this, drawing from hitler's fine tuning of propoganda to control the masses.
Without knowledge the truth cannot be illuminated, it remains in the vast darkness cast by the Enlightened.

On the other hand if someone comes out and makes statements about a candidate because “this source says so” or “this links states this” etc, then your right and they have not formed their own opinion.
I try to read up on particular candidates before I form an opinion. You can’t just read one site or magazine, or newspaper you need a few different sources to help sort out the BS. Forget about most news stations because they are usually just sound bites and sound bites are ALWAYS taking out of context.
Now, if it is a program, news station or what ever, that spends some time with a candidate, even 15 minutes then that’s one good source to go by and one should try to find others.
There are very few sites, papers, magazines or organizations that are NOT biased. Even the organizations with extremely misleading titles, for example the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), they are very biased towards liberal type programs and propaganda and sometimes are actually looking out for peoples civil liberties, but generally they are not.
However, the right is the same to some extent, not nearly as bad as the left, but in any regards they too have some organizations that are misleading.
So just because a particular source may say they are un-biased never completely believe that…
