wow you guys are great. Only on F-150online could we go from a simple arrest thread 4 months ago to a political homeland security debate. Your right Red, i should have called his mom and crack ho and claimed to have banged his sister in those same handcuffs, im sure he wudda let me right out. Ive been to jail, they wont let ya out.
My story reminds me a little of Ron Whites skit about being throw out of a night club in New York.

well considering that i didnt get charged with the resisting arrest which the officer said i would probley be charged with (i guess he didnt write that up in the report
), and that i got the charged dropped from my record by paying 110 dollars+1 yr probation, and paying a lawyer 90 bucks to do that, i think i got a good deal

Not all US cops are bad. I honestly had the impression he wanted to make sure the car was not stolen.
I am in Bellerica, near Boston, in the back seat, my friend in the front, his wife is driving. We change our minds to where we want to go, around 2 blocks from their house. She stops and make an U-turn to go back the other way. Cops drives up from behind, lights us up. It went like this:
Cop: Where are you going ?
Wife: Taking our friend (me) to dinner.
Cop: Why did you make a U-turn ?
Wife: We started off going..., then decided we want to go to...
Cop: Where do you live?
Wife: Over there (points).
Cop: Can I see your license ?
Wife: Here.
Cop: Apologies for delaying you, have a nice day.

I don't get paid enough to put up with some of the crap I get from some of my customers, and especially the customers of my customers; so, I don't. I make sure that I do take care of things, in a way that doesn't put my tail in a sling with my boss or with the law, though. I don't have to beat the hell out of someone when they start showing their ***; or, if they say something disrespectful to me. Cops do not have the right to take physical action against someone, just because they have a big mouth and crappy attitude. Period. If they don't like their job enough to put up with the ***** that comes along with doing it; or, if they feel the pay isn't sufficient, they should find a job doing something else. Not all cops are bad; but, they are not all the good guys either. Anybody that thinks it's okay for them to behave as they wish when dealing with smartasses is wrong.
