New Sheriff in Town.....

Last Thursday, my pregnant wife calls me at 7:30am says that she is not feeling well and to meet her at home. She works 3 BLOCKS from the hospital.....So I say why the HELL are driving home (25 miles) and not going around the corner to the hospital? She says "do you really want to f#*%ing argue now". So I drop everything and get home which is 20 miles for me and noting that traffic into Boston on route 93 is a nightmare. I get home and get her in the truck. I am doing 75+ in the breakdown lane, she starts wailing in pain and screaming for me to go faster. I tell her that it is going to be at least 1 hour to get to Brigham & Womens in Boston. She says that shes going to have the baby RIGHT now. So I tell her that there is no way that I am going to get her into the back of the truck. She says what the hell are you talking about? I tell her THERE IS NO WAY SHE IS GOING TO HAVE THIS KID INSIDE MY TRUCK! Looking back...my timing was off in making this statement. So I call the State Police and ask for an escort and they said that they'd send an ambulance. Ten minutes later: 2 Staties, 5 Wilminton Police, 1 Fire engine, 1 Fire/Rescue and an ambulance show up. We never made it into Boston....her water broke in route. We pulled into Winchester Hospital at 9:02am and the baby was born at 9:05am.

After witnessing the miracle of child birth.....The only thing that comes to mind....THANK GOD THIS DID NOT HAPPEN IN MY TRUCK!

Just after the nurses cleaned him up.

Good thing, yes. I can only imagine the post you would have had to make in the General Care forum looking for clean up advice...

Thanks......Virtual cigars and beers for the house

Flip off Daddy?

The truck could possibly be his one day.....

Flip off Daddy?

I will be the only one in his corner....when he wants his first quad.....

Little grasshopper will see the light real fast.

He also has a 19 month old brother that is NOT happy about his arrival. I've got a feeling he going to bury the baby in the backyard the first chance he gets.

Start saving now Joe..........

My Dad told me to get a new truck, every gun that I wanted and all my toys BEFORE putting the ring on her finger.....MAN WAS HE RIGHT!

Mod money = Gone
Riding the quad on weekends = Ain't gonna happen
Weekend motorcycle trips = Non-existent
Take off hunting with the guys = Never passes Congress
Enjoying a couple of beers at a bar = I can vaguely remember
Going to the movies = Can never make it happen
Watching a rented movie at home = Thank God for a pause button
Supper time = Aspirin, Tylenol or Motrin

Watching a little version of you grow up = PRICELESS

It’s amazing to see the world thru the eyes of an innocent child.
