Buh Bye

I'm outta here guys... and gals. We traded both our vehicles today (2001 F150 SuperCrew and 2002 Mustang) for a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT and a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. Cadillac has the navigation system with XM radio, loaded, and the Pacifica has the DVD flip down screen, also loaded.

I was getting sick of the Mustang... too small, not enough power, looks too much like a mid-life crisis car. And although I love my F150, I was starting to get a little tired of it as well.

My husband and I are funny about vehicles. We don't seem to keep them for longer than 2-3 years.

I really enjoyed all of you! I'll still stop in now and then... just to see what's up at the funny farm!!

Hey, hey, hey (sung to the tune of "Fat Albert"

You don't need a Ford to belong here.
Sounds like you guys got some nice new vehicles, I sure hope you post pics and a little write up after some time, I know I would love to hear about your experience.

Don't leave just cuz you don't own a Ford, I could care less what you drive and have always enjoyed your posts.

Hmmm... that's right, I still DO own a Ford... the 73.

I haven't taken any pics yet, but here's a brief review of each, after only driving them for one week.

2004 Chrysler Pacifica
Same engine as the 300M, 260 hp, 8 cyl, lots of pep, heated seats (my favorite option), handles very well on curvy roads, sunroof, great pick up, ooo... it also has the flip down DVD player for the back passengers, oh yeah... the second row of seats are heated too. Third row of seats are good for children or small adults, but definately not big adults. Powered lift gate in the back - nice. The only thing we don't like is that it keep trying to pull over next to soccer fields.

2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT
Nice. Pearl white. 8 cyl, Vortec 6.0, 345 hp. Luxury interior, sunroof, navigation, XM radio, heated seats (mmmmm)... and has a HUGE cargo storage area. There's a rubber mat in the back so all our groceries don't fly all over the place. Tail gate is easy to lift. It's like still having my truck, but also getting my Cadillac.

Pics to follow.

Yep... all wheel drive. It's on the Caddy too. Instant 4WD when the tires begin to slip... sweet...
