1) Ford did something
2) He didn't like it
3) He gonna buy Ford no more

As a consumer it is his right.

Scott Brand Tissue did something I didn't like.
I haven't bought toilet paper in three years.

you need to quit using: Klennex, Kotex and your going to hate this.....Depends

so you cant wipe you butt, blow your nose, you know the kotex thing and you cant crap your pants. but as a consumer thats your right.

welcome to the american stock market!!

havn't you noticed all the press that bad ceo's have been getting lately? Ford is no different. they are geared for one purpose and one purpose only due to the way the american stock market works. Profit for share holders period.

the problem is coming to a head with a lot of older companies like Ford because they can no longer "Grow" enough to please the analyst (guessers) on wal street so they must constantly change and open and close plants so that they can put profits on to different parts of their balance sheet.

case in point: McDonalds the largest restaurant chain in the world. are they profitable? heck yes, in the billions. however they have saturated the market/world so their profits albeit high are flat, no growth which is all wall street cares about because it is purely a speculative market. so what does micky-d's do? they close old locations and open new ones and they buy other new business' that have no history to show growth.

now don't get me wrong, I am not a liberal or bashing the US in anyway I am merely trying to explain in simple terms what is happening at Ford.

the american stock market is a great place to get really rich and make your copmpany huge but in the long run it is not that great. you will notice more and more companies going back to being private for this exact reason and you will notice more and more ceo's saying that they now care about their employee's which is what they should have done all along!!

sorry for the rant this sort of stuff really gets to me as i have worked for really big companies that only care about what wall street says. if the analysts (guessers) say that they speculate that you should grow 26% this quarter and you only grow 25% they de-value your stock even though at 25% you made $1 billion in profit!!! (This actually happend at the company i was working for) so now what does the company do? cut staff, no more flavored coffee, less paper clips, smaller expense accounts. doesn't this sound stupid?!?! well it happens every day. a note: it only happens in the US, Japan, and Great Britan. yes they are the strongest economies in the world this is just how they work.

all other stock markets in the world are value based not speculative based. hence our market has explosive growth and expolsive failures and theirs have far less massive ups and downs.

so in a nutshell invest in both!!!!

yes....some of you are right....something did happen on a personal level and that is the reason why i'm doing what i'm doing......and you are right in saying that it is my choice.....for those of you who make fun of this post by me, oh well......i'll get over it....and another thing, just be careful what you say on here....there are people from Ford looking at this, trust me, i know this way to well.....funny how they look at something you may say and they dont' like and try to sand bag you, but when you complain about something with your vehicle they ignore it......hmmmm.....customer satisfaction my a$$.....the only satisfaction ford gets is when you buy their product and make their wallets fat.....why do you think it's so hard to get warranty work done....i had a 2000 f150 V6 that is notorious for valve knock,.....i tried to take it to 2 dealers and you know what they told me?.....it was my aftermarket grille i installed that was rattling.....yeah, that's what they told me.....funny when i took it off, it still had the knocking, and when i went to trade it in,.....guess what the first thing that came out of the salesman's mouth?....."what's that knocking noise?".....i told him what a dealer said and he said,.."sounds like valve knock to me".......well, even though my .02 cents less in their pocket won't be much to worry about for Ford, but i'm a better person in my book for not giving them any more of my money.......i had a 96 dodge ram, had a flat in the middle of knowhere close to where i fish.....tried to put the spare on and the lug nut stripped cause it was over torqued.....dodge sent a wrecker out and picked it up, towed it 65 miles, replaced the lug, and the tire for all the trouble i had and didn't charge me a penny....now that's customer satisfaction.......should have kept the dodge.....so Bill Ford, better keep these other consumers happy, or you might be losing more people down the road.......food for thought.

This is true. I used to speak my mind about Ford on this site then, two of my goats dissappeared. I got a photo of them in the mail along with some of my unflattering posts about Ford. I get a snapshot of them now and again. They appear to be fed and cared for but, I got the message.

I learned my lesson.
I have no comment.

Watch what you say?!?!?!?! He!! if they're reading, post what you want them to hear. If only one or two people are complaining ya they are going to ignore them, but if many people are complaining about something they'll listen. Think about it, this is a site where people who drive Fords, like (or in some cases love ) Fords and for the most part are fanatics about Fords post. Your average person is not going to take their time to log on the internet spend time registering, reading posts and writing post for a mode of transportation. Unless they REALLY like the vehicle. If Ford sees that the die hard are starting to get irritated/angry then they will probably sit up and take notice. If they don't then they will see the drop in sales.
