As i was saying yesterday, both is a bad idea. It is along the line of you can get in a little trouble by yourself, and you can get in a lot of trouble if you have a partner in crime. Labs take a lot of attention can be easily trained - when distractions are removed. Trying to train 2 lab pups would be a lost cause.

How about Hutton? (after James Hutton) You could call her Hut...

Let's try real hard not to represent such a defeatist attitude. I have two labs, two months apart in age. Both were trained (by me) to verbal and hand signals (no, not those kinda hand signals). Neither were very hard to train and trust me, neither falls into the category of a lost cause. With a little attention and focus, two can be trained just as easily as one. A simple philosophy I subscribe to: When properly trained, both children and dogs are a joy to have around.

I never tried it, but sometimes I tie a hundred dollar bill around my neck so the wife will play with me.

For $100 I could get more than my wife to play with me, just not at the same time.

 

Just remember that the dog that chews the most may not be the best for the King Ranch leather. I'm sure you understand. They both look like awesome dogs, but just trying to help prevent future problems. Also, Lexi sounds like an awesome name.
