DON'T GET BOTH!!!!!!!

I've seen a couple of times where people got 2 labs (siblings) and it wasn't pretty. I'm talking mass destruction - walls trashed, grills flipped - mass destruction. If there is a difference between them, get the one that isn't super hyper, or too mellow.

I'll back later - my daughter is crying and my wife is telling to take care of her

I have a couple of labs, and I just got a Sharpei, but my Labs are awesome.

Get Both, my best buddy got two Labs as pups, they entertain each other, and chew on one another instead of the furniture.

Ain't they cute, little Meg and little Zayne! Wonder which one has the best coat?

Whoa! I just thought of something, if this goes on as long as the lawnmower thread, they could both be old dogs by the time RP makes up his mind.

No question, get them both! Trust me, I speak from experience here. Young dogs (especially labs) need a lot of exercise and attention. They'll help keep each other occupied throughout the day and night, which will give you a break. My first lab even chewed on my stuff less after I brought the second dog home.

On a different but related note, may I offer you a thank you for looking for your pooch at a shelter. It's always great, especially at this time of year, when a good dog finds a home instead of a sharp needle. Whatever your decision, I'd bet with a little time and attention, both of those puppies will turn out to be great dogs.

Good luck, and take care.

Both isn't an option guys... please note the poll! I can only get one... getting two wouldn't be fair to either one of them as I wouldn't have the necessary time nor space for them to enjoy and live like I think they should live. I wish I could but, I can't. End of that story...

Megs... hrrrm... I was thinking something with a geological twist like Dolina (Do-lee-Na) but, I'm really liking Megs. As I might have mentioned, I had a dalmation back in high school... her name was Maggie... not sure if that name would be too close or not. I miss Maggie...

Keep the ideas flowing guys. I'm still very interested in hearing what you all have to say... well all of you minus serotta and Habibi.

Look out for #2, she's a chewer. You won't have a chair leg left.

Seriously...Spend some time with them and handle them both. Just because they're from the same litter doesn't mean they have the same temperment.

I think you should still tie the pork chop around your neck and see which one likes you more.

What Burt said early on...

Spend time with them and check temprament...

I would pick the one that is laid back, doesn't chew furniture, shoes, etc.

If one of them can feed itself and clean up after itself, then pick that dog...

As a dog lover with 3 of my own, my vote is to get both of them.

You won't be sorry if you do.

They can keep themselves occupied all day long by playing with each other. They back each other up in a fight.

Yeah, I think you need both.
