I was suspended today. Here's the statement I gave a week ago in reference to why I'm suspended today...

Last week, (11/3/03-11/7/03), in Mrs. Siems class, Nik S. was telling me about a comic strip Stephen M. made about Mr. R and the Adademies. We were on my computer in Ms. Siems' class when Nik went to Steve's online journal to show me the comic. A few days later in homeroom, Steve was telling Sean M. and me about Brian M. showing Mr. S his (Steve's) journal. Then Steve made a comment in his journal about wanting to do Mr. S up the butt. After he told us about it, we laughed because we knew it was a joke. I didn't see the comment Steve made about S., so I can't tell for sure what it was about. I'm just going off of what Steve told Sean and I in homeroom.
Today, I got called up to Mr. B's office about this whole silly incident. The comic strip mentioned above was about Mr. Rendell and making fun of the Academies. Also, Mr. B showed me the same comic strip while I was in his office.

So that's the statement I gave. I got a one day suspension for viewing the "Inappropriate Material" Oh well, we have Thursday and Friday off, so it just gives me a 5 day weekend, plus I get to make up my material. All in all, as our SRO put it, "You now have a "Get out of Jail pass". haha.

 

It occured to me that the license plates on my truck are older than you.

(and they have never been suspended even for one day)

 

To me that whole "inappropriate material" thing kind of sucks because it's based on whoever gets to decide the limits of what's appropriate or not and that changes from person to person/school to school. I'm guessing that the gay and lesbian school in New York would have a different list of inappropriate material than a Christian academy ( NOTICE: I didn't say "right" or "wrong" just "different" so let's not go down that road ).

It sucks that you get suspended for just viewing it. The only way I could justify you actually getting into trouble over this is if the comic was very graphic and explicit and you knew about that before popping it up on the screen. Still it's all based on some person's idea of what's appropriate or not.

It is just totally inappropriate to even suggest that you'd like to nail your teacher in the kiester. Unless of course....

Meanwhile there are other kids in your school carrying concealed weapons, peddling drugs and all kind of nasty things. No. Go after Joe 'cause its the easy ticket.

Just like a cop that gives you a flimsy ticket for 10 over and yet don't go after the real dangerous drivers because it would be like work.

 

Now that I've given it some more thought....You should show up on Monday in just your speedo and rings....then you will have the whole school to yourself because everyone else would be suspended for viewing inappropriate material

When I was in high school in my computer class, my buddy next to me had a few windows open so when the teacher wasn't looking he could browse the net. One page was pr0n And the tecaher caught him, but he was looking at a different page (not the pr0n). The teach walked up behind him and said, 'Are you supposed to be on the internet' My buddy had already got caught once so he hit his head on the keyboard (for real) but he hit F6, which changed the page to the pr0n! He didn't know because he left his head on the keyboard! He didn't get suspended, just a lot of standards. Oh, how times change.

Don't worry about it Joe, I was suspended on many many occassions during school, it starts with 1 day, then 3 days, then 5 days, next thing you know, you find yourself kicked out, then no school wants you because now you've got a reputation of being "Badass Joe"

just messin, did you at least give your teacher the bird? At least get some value for your suspension.

 

That's most likely because they can't "catch" the crazy drivers...

 

I got one for 9 over two weeks ago.

November is not my month.

4 Trip and falls, resulting in scrapes
