I have bought 6 xbox games in the last two weeks that were all must buys for me. Plus I am getting another one tomorrow, plus there are about 2 or 3 more coming out before chrismas.
In the last month there has been 3 games for the Gamecube that were must buys.
Up there you have 1 game in the last month, 1 from a couple of months ago, 2 that are over 6 months old and one that isn't out yet. Hell off the top of my head I can list about 10 Xbox games that I will buy that will be coming out in the next 3-4 months.
The fact is that PS2 cannot match what the xbox has to offer. **** sales. Most people only buy something because that is what their friend has. Hell I classify the Dreamcast as one of the best consoles ever made. The Dreamcast to this day still has more impressive visuals than I have ever seen on the PS2.

As for the dreamcast, that was a helluva great consol. Too bad it went under.
3 words - HALO HALO HALO!!!!!! If you like shooters, this is, by far, the BEST shooter ever made. And I was a HUGE fan of all the classics like Quake, Duke, and Wolfenstein. HALO blows them all away. This game alone encompassed about 75% of my decision to buy my XBOX. Don't get me wrong, I used to love the PS2. But that was before I played the XBOX. Much better console hands down.
Also, while doing my research before buying my XBOX, I found a sweet little "Hack" for the XBOX. It is software you can download that lets you play online with others. It does this by tricking the XBOX into thinking that it is directly connected to another XBOX. You have to have a router and a pc available to do it though. Bottom line is, you can play online without subscribing to XBOX and paying the fees, and better yet, Microsoft doesn't get any of your personal information to exploit at a later time.
By the way, HALO 2 is coming out in March I think
